GET EASY AND AWESOME PORTRAITS WITH THIS SIMPLE TRICK

There is a very simple trick with which you can make easy portraits and at the same time that your photographs look professional even if you are not a professional photographer specialized in the subject. Do you want to know how? Keep reading When we buy a SLR camera for the first time we are usually starting a long and arduous learning path that will take time, but there are certain easy-to-follow tricks and with which we can get surprising immediate results, such as the trick today. Today's exercise (hyper easy) is called "Depth of Field." I don't want to go into technical details, but I'm simply going to take the exact steps you have to follow to achieve this effect without losing sight of our main goal: easy portraits. The objective is to get a portrait (or photo of any reason, also valid) in which the subject comes out focused, very very sharp, while the background is out of focus. This technique is very common among professional photographers when they take portraits or photographs in which you want to enhance the value of an object. The fact of having the subject VERY focused and the background behind it very unfocused makes the viewer's gaze directly to the subject, giving all the attention and prominence.

6 STEPS TO GET EASY AND IMPRESSIVE PORTRAITS

      • If you have Nikon choose the "A" mode.
      • If you have Canon choose the «Av» mode.
      • For Sony it would be the "A" mode.
      • Pentax cameras have it as «Av».
  2. Once you have the correct mode selected, turn the control dial (The control dial is another button, don't you know where it is? Very easy, click on the brand of your camera and I'll show it to you right now: Nikon ; Canon ; Sony and Pentax ).
    • If in step 1 you have correctly selected the A (or Av) mode, now as you turn the control dial you will see a number change on the screen of your camera, with the f / symbol. Do you follow me Well, that value please reduce it to the maximum. You will stay on f / 5.6, maybe f / 3.5 or out there, the important thing is that you turn the control dial until the f / value cannot go down anymore.
  3. Now raise the focal length of your target to the maximum. If you have an 18-55mm lens, set it to 55, if it is 55-200mm choose 200.
  4. Focus on a friend, your wife, your nephew or grandmother, ask him to sketch a small smile and ... shoot.
  5. This step is the most important: APPLY THIS TUTORIAL . Yes, that's right, it is no use that you have read here if you do not apply it in the end. You've seen how easy it is, so please, don't let it cool. Practice right now.
    • Remember that only when we practice something is it when we are well recorded.
