THE BEST
I like the affection with which this book is written, it shows that at all times its authors have thought of the public to which it is addressed.
I have been very pleasantly surprised that it goes far beyond teaching photography in a superficial way, with tricks, camera management tips and so on; but they also go in each chapter delving into photography as a language, as a form of creative expression, of getting to know yourself, exploring the world and relating to it. They are clear that children are also (smaller) people with their needs for expression, with their evolutionary processes and personal growth. Minipoint for Amparo and Javier ?
Another aspect that I liked is how the chapters end with an Inspirational Artist proposal.
WORST
Although it says from 6 years, I think it is for older people. Now, this will depend on the maturity of each boy or girl, of course. From her reading comprehension ability, her motivation, etc.
However, for the little ones it is best to read them and work on the different activities together. Although for me it's not exactly a problem either ? .
CONCLUSIONS
It is a very complete book. Although it is true that someone who is 6 years old will not take advantage of it in the same way as someone who is 12, for example, I think it is a perfect book to learn and to return to periodically. A book that can be read as a family and practice with our creatures both the tips and the exercises and even investigate the proposals of inspirational artists proposed by Amparo and Javier.
I find it very didactic as well as inspiring. In fact, I am convinced that it can be a magnificent gift. A great gift that takes up very little.
