If you have a Nikon 1 , whatever version, it doesn't matter, you'll be happy, listen to me. Right now the cheapest versions are V1 and J1 if I'm not mistaken. If you want to get the latest version, since you wear it, and you can afford it, I don't see it as a bad idea. But I insist, the differences are really minimal and do not justify the price differences.
