PHOTORETO47: EVERYDAY

PHOTORETO47: EVERYDAY

I bring you a new theme so that you can go get your camera and practice your favorite hobby: photography.

Our Photo Challenge aims to encourage you to practice photography, to provoke you every week to spend some time with your camera and let your creativity fly while you practice and learn.

HOW PHOTORETO WORKS

The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new photographic theme. Sometimes I will show you an example photo to inspire you, other times I will simply give you a clue or a little trick that you can apply when making the Photograph.

Each time you will have 7 days to participate in the Photo Challenge of the week in question, until the following Thursday. Upload it to your favorite social network ( Instagramor Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or label corresponding to the photo challenge in question along with the mention of @blogfotografo . This week will be #Fotoreto47

Each week we will select a winning photograph. The author of the photo will take a book from our BdF digital book library .

When you participate in the Photo Challenge, we understand that you allow the Photographer's Blog to publish your photograph. In no case do you give us your copyright. The author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of the copyright remains you.

THEME OF THE WEEK: EVERYDAY (04/17/20 – 04/23/20)

Sometimes we forget the magic that is hidden in everyday moments, in the day to day, in those small actions that invariably occur, that we let go, without enjoying them one iota, due to haste, routine, habit. .

These days that we are spending at home, we are (re)discovering magic within our homes, in many ways. There are hard moments, but we are recovering many beautiful things that we had left on the road.

Today we challenge you to capture the magic inside your home, in one of those moments that you did not stop before and that you can now enjoy: that ray of light that enters through the window, the steaming coffee, the dust in suspension, the little ones in full play, a look, a hand on the soft texture of the cushion, frolicking between the sheets while the first rays of sun sneak in... you just have to open your eyes and heart. Light, composition and photographer's sensitivity is all you need.

Submit your best photo and add the hashtag #fotoreto47 and the mention @blogfotografo. One of our ebooks can be yours, what are you waiting for?!

UPDATE

We have loved seeing how you turned your everyday moments into beauty. Thank you for continuing to contribute precious grains of sand every week.

This week's image belongs to @vivalafoto29and is titled «These days I let the light embrace me more and more».

This photograph is a good example that any ordinary, simple moment anywhere can be turned into a photograph, into a beautiful, suggestive image with a story behind it. It is true that the title helps to better understand and contextualize the narration of an image, although, in this case, most of us can perfectly understand what those wrinkled feet that rise up in search of a ray of sun are talking about, in search of a freedom that it was so everyday that we did not value it and that now it has become the Holy Grail of humanity. Some background bars that make up a set of lines but that are also co-stars because they are a clear symbol.

I like this image for what it tells, transmits and for the delicacy with which it is narrated. The feet suggest, like the bars or what appears blurred behind the glass as a diffuse reality, counting without counting. Letting the imagination do its part to trap you inside the scene.

Lines and symmetry predominate in the composition, subtly broken by a higher foot, a diagonal that introduces tension and a chimney that seems too far away. So do light and textures.

Thank you @vivalafoto29 for sharing with this community such an everyday and intimate moment and congratulations for having captured it so well.

Tomorrow a new Photo Challenge, a new game, with a theme that you will like very much, if you want to know more, don't miss it!
