I bring you a new theme so that you can go get your camera and practice your favorite hobby: photography.
Our Photo Challenge aims to encourage you to practice photography, to provoke you every week to spend some time with your camera and let your creativity fly while you practice and learn.
HOW PHOTORETO WORKS
The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new photographic topic. Sometimes I will show you an example photo to inspire you, other times I will simply give you a clue or a little trick that you can apply when making the Photograph.
On each occasion you will have 7 days to participate in the Photo Challenge of the week in question, until the following Thursday (in this Photo Challenge 82 it will be 14 days). Upload your photo to your favorite social network ( Instagramor Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or label corresponding to the photo challenge in question along with the mention of @blogfotografo . This week it will be #Fotoreto82 . You can participate with both a new photo and a photo that you have on file (only one).
Each week we will select a winning photograph. The author of the photo will take a book from our BdF digital book library .
When you participate in the Photo Challenge, we understand that you allow the Photographer's Blog to publish your photograph. In no case do you give us your copyright. The author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of the copyright remains you.
THEME OF THE WEEK: CHRISTMAS (12/25/20 – 01/07/21)
Merry christmas! Today, December 25, is such a special date that we could not convene another theme other than Christmas. It is not original, we know, but we did not want to miss the opportunity. And this year for even more reason, because however atypical they may be for some, or very sad or nostalgic for others, we need that little ray of magic and illusion more than ever. We may be very far from those we love the most, for the good of all, but it is something physical, I think that on an emotional level we are closer than ever.
In this Photo Challenge we are going to give you until January 7 so that you have all the parties to take and upload your Christmas photos . From Christmas to Kings, through New Year's Eve and the rest of the days. Tell us how you are living these dates, what do you want to highlight, remember, immortalize because, despite everything, surely there are great moments and precious gestures that deserve to be captured: the delivery of a gift, the Christmas lights that shine brighter than ever, the saved hugs, the tree, the absences, the distances and the caresses and affections of those present. We want you to tell us and we want to experience it with you.
If you want inspiration to capture Christmas, here are a ton of resources . Remember that we value both the technical part, as well as the aesthetics and history of photography. Take care of each and every aspect of your image.

This image could not be more Christmassy, as well as creative, and yes, it is a montage. But Photoshop is yet another resource that you can use for your photos and, on this occasion, it is very well used.
Christmas is for dreaming and in this photograph it is very reflected, family moments, preparations, illusion, fantasy and, of course, the red color so characteristic of these dates. And it is that, even in difficult and strange moments, we cannot lose that illusion, especially for our children, the true protagonists of these days, like this little girl who clings to the Christmas tree while flying over the vast forest, because, whatever whatever happens, they should not be deprived of their right to feel the magic.
I also love that there is a dog and a cat in the image, because on these dates the differences are smoothed out, the opposites approach positions, we forget grudges and live with another joy.
