Today I bring you a very original gift, which at least has made me very excited. (You're probably going to read this, so thanks Daniel!!! ;)) It's about the instax SHARE SP-2, a smartphone printer from Fujifilm that I couldn't resist showing you. And speaking of printed photos, before we get into the subject, you will surely love this mega guide on developing photos.
And if what you need is to improve your mobile photos, here we have this other guide with tips and tricks that comes in handy.
WHAT IS THE INSTAX SHARE SP-2?
It 's a smartphone photo printer that fits in the palm of one hand (look at the photo, and my hand is sooo small). You can take it anywhere in your bag, or even in a baggy pocket. And it doesn't need to be plugged into the mains to work if the battery is charged. You also do not need to connect the cable to the printer, it works over Wi-fi.
AND WHY A SMARTPHONE PRINTER?
Admit it, we take most of the photos with our mobile phones. I am not referring to the artistic ones (which are also), but to the day to day, on your mother's birthday, on the last meeting with friends, on your son's first day of school, your little monster's costume party, or your last romantic dinner. Your smartphone is full of memories that may one day go down the toilet (literally) or in the mop bucket if you haven't taken the precaution of downloading or printing the images.
The more you leave it, the more lazy it becomes and the more difficult it is to download them, right? Well, this printer is used to avoid a catastrophe of this type, because you can surprise your mother by blowing out the candle without having to have a Polaroid-type instant camera, or give your grandparents a photo with your newborn baby on their first visit, to put it a small example of moments that should never be lost ;).
UTILITY
As I have just mentioned, it is an instant printer, for those who do not part with their mobile phone, for those who want to take the photo home on paper, to surprise friends, to have a detail with your visits, so that guests stay with a memory of the party or to not lose the best moment of a last romantic getaway.
It is ideal for giving gifts, decorating, animating your photo albums, touching memories with your hands, sending them by post, because we still love letters, packages and paper photos. Also to wallpaper the fridge, use them as invitations or to keep special moments in your wallet ? And the Polaroid-style photos are the perfect detail for lovers of retro or vintage and for nostalgics like yours truly.
THE BEST AND THE WORST
The best
- His immediacy.
- How easy it is to use.
- How fast it prints.
- The convenience of being able to take it anywhere without the need for a plug.
- The design and the size.
- The retro style of photos that characterizes Polaroid and other instant cameras .
Worst
- The economic part, in addition to the initial investment, you have to add the reels.
- The brightness of the colors is not as bright as it appears in the video ? it is more similar to the usual polaroids although the quality is good.
- The size of the photos. They measure like a credit card and the image is a little smaller (approximately 6×4.5cm). But of course, what can you expect from a printer that fits in the palm of your hand? ? And well, it can also be an advantage, I've already mentioned it, they fit in a purse!
So far my initial experience with this new gift that I'm enjoying. Just seeing my little one's face when observing how the image appears as if by magic… it already seems like a gift to me 10!! In fact I don't know who is more excited of the two with the gift :).
If you found it useful, I invite you to share it, maybe you give someone a good idea for an original gift ? Thank you and see you soon.
