Introduction

To say that the Sony Alpha A700 was a highly anticipated camera means to say nothing. Recently, the fate of bayonet A was not quite successful. First, Minolta merged with Konica, and two digital SLR cameras, the Dynax 7D and its simplified version of Dynax 5D, were launched under the Konica Minolta brand. But soon Konica Minolta's photo department was completely transferred to Sony. Already under the Sony brand, the Alpha A100 was released - a digital SLR camera with a 10-megapixel sensor, but more focused on amateur photographers. Most of the so-called semi-professionals - people who are more or less seriously involved in photography - continued to "sit" on the 6-megapixel Dynax 7D. And this is not surprising: the camera had excellent ergonomics and very convenient controls. In place of Sony, it would be foolish to abandon existing developments and make a new semi-pro class camera from scratch. And indeed, the long-awaited “seven hundred” in all respects looks like a full-fledged replacement for the already outdated and long-unavailable “seven”. Well, get to know her better.
