WEEKLY CHALLENGE 110: PEOPLE FROM THE BACK

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 110: PEOPLE FROM THE BACK

Do backs inspire you? Today I am going to challenge you to seduce us with one. You sign up?

HOW DOES IT WORK? (REMINDER)

Every week I will propose a new challenge , it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, going through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The topics will be proposed on Saturdays, so that you have the whole weekend to work on them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week. On Friday or Saturday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and I will propose a new topic, and so…

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 110: PEOPLE WITH THEIR BACKS TURNED

Sometimes it is better to suggest than to show, this way you let the viewer build part of the story. The cinema uses this resource a lot and photography, sister art, too. This week you will have to photograph someone from behind, from afar or up close, showing the entire back or just a part (you decide when you want to suggest). It can be in a pleasant or inhospitable environment, in black and white or in color... It doesn't matter, but include a back in your frame and remember that a good photograph must have a good composition and careful lighting. Do not lose this important part when capturing your image and in addition to suggesting (not telling) a story, create a good photograph that makes us not want to take our eyes off it. Seduce us with your back ? (and don't forget to title it).

As usual, to participate in this week's challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wallfrom the Photographer's Blog:  In the description of the photo, please mention the keyword “Back to People Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.

ALTERNATIVE MEANS TO PARTICIPATE

For those of you who are not from Facebook, I have enabled new social networks to participate.

    UPDATE

Sensational the work you have done this week! Fun, tender, fresh, suggestive, shocking, chilling backs… For all tastes and colors! I could not resist and I have made a gallery a little wider than usual... ? I hope you enjoy it.

The choice has not been easy, it never is, but there are days when it costs more because you have several favorites, but in the end, Vane Vanuchi's "A Hidden Desire" has thrown more. An image that looks like a frame from a movie, or the memory of a curious teenager... It is a truly suggestive photograph, due to the natural framing in the shape of a keyhole, due to a sensual back that insinuates a lot without showing anything. I love that fantastic light that seems to come from a side window and that floods the entire room, bathing the girl's body, the contrast between the dark secret of the one waiting outside and all the light and life that happens inside. The lock immediately focuses its gaze on the woman's back and lets the imagination run wild to invent what is happening on the other side of the door. Congratulations, Van!
