This week we have a theme that goes straight to the heart, photography of grandparents and grandchildren.
HOW DOES IT WORK? (REMINDER)
Every week I will propose a new challenge , it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, going through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The topics will be proposed on Saturdays, so that you have the whole weekend to work on them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week. On Friday or Saturday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and I will propose a new topic, and so…
WEEKLY CHALLENGE 121: GRANDPARENTS AND GRANDCHILDREN
I don't think there is a more endearing relationship in families than that of grandfathers and grandmothers with their grandsons and granddaughters. As much as they have been parents before, I believe that there is a gene that transforms them when it comes to being grandparents. I have seen some who have never gotten down to the ground with their children and have done so with their grandchildren. Or they haven't held a ball in their hands in sixty years of life and a grandson is born and they start kicking even at the risk of breaking a hip (or both ? ). Being a grandfather is pampering, caring, passing on experiences, knowledge... being a grandfather is a privilege for those who can and know how to enjoy it, and this week it's your turn to capture those moments when these two generations shake hands to give each other experience and innocence.
Take a look at this article that will give you some ideas and don't forget that this is a photography blog, the challenges are for you to practice photography, telling a story or conveying an emotion is essential, but always achieving a correct image as soon as light, focus, frame... Shoot as many times as necessary and send a photograph worthy of being among the highlights, because you can!
As usual, to participate in this week's challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wallfrom the Photographer's Blog: In the description of the photo, please mention the keyword “Grandparents and Grandchildren Challenge” followed by a title of your choice .

UPDATE
I leave you with a loving gallery of relationships between grandchildren and grandparents. Thanks for participating ?
I have fallen in love with the image of Javi Bermúdez the moment I have seen it. It is a very well executed photograph on a technical and creative level. It is a well-focused image with a very careful composition and light. Javi has known how to apply the law of thirds and the law of the gaze very well, in addition, by resorting to the low key, he has not only focused attention on the grandfather and the grandson (or granddaughter), but has somehow managed to way to respect your privacy. We are mere spectators of a special moment between grandfather and grandson. A moment in which he protects her with his embrace while transmitting his wisdom to her. The little one is attentive, observing and learning, receiving the knowledge just as he receives the light from the lamp. An instant in which nothing else matters but them and what they are saying and feeling, that's why the rest is dark, because it doesn't contribute anything, because it gets in the way. Congratulations, Javi, for capturing this beautiful snapshot and sharing it with us!
