WEEKLY CHALLENGE 48: EVERYDAY

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 48: EVERYDAY

Recently, Caro shared a vision of everyday photography , based on the principle that we can all produce great and very good photographs while in domestic and everyday situations. This week I challenge you to photograph an everyday situation.

HOW DOES IT WORK? (REMINDER)

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, going through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The topics will be proposed on Saturdays, so that you have the whole weekend to work on them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week. On Friday or Saturday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and I will propose a new topic, and so…

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 48: EVERYDAY

It doesn't have to be a birthday party, or a professional model. We don't need to visit the Eiffel Tower. This week we will turn everyday life into the protagonist. If you need inspiration take a look at this article . The idea is to portray an everyday, normal situation, without anything outstanding, and to be able to take a beautiful and attractive photo from it.

The objective of the exercise is to refute the typical argument of the lazy photographer (we have all been lazy from time to time) that if the weather is not good, if we are not going on a trip or we do not have an idyllic landscape in front of us, then it is not worth taking the camera. camera.

As always, make your photo speak, convey something.

As usual, to participate in this week's challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wall of the Photographer's Blog:  In the description of the photo, please mention the keyword “Daily Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.

ALTERNATIVE MEANS TO PARTICIPATE

For those of you who are not from Facebook, I have enabled new social networks to participate.

  • Flickr: Accessing the Photographer's Blog Group Wall and uploading the photo directly. Give your photo a caption and be sure to mention “Daily Challenge” in it.
  • Twitter: uploading the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #RetoCotidianoBDF

Thanks for participating.

UPDATE

As every Friday, today it is time to update the weekly challenge with a careful and extensive selection made up of photographs taken by blog readers in different facets of daily life: there are cats, dogs, garlic and babies, with a good balance of black and white photographs. and others in color. I let you enjoy.

My favorite photograph this week features a small human being who, while someone washes him, stares at this new gadget in front of him called a camera. I love the composition of the photo that boldly breaks the famous rule of thirds by placing the adorable subject in the center of the frame. The amount of light behind the subject would have made the photo underexposed, were it not for the skill of the photographer who, I suspect, must have used a good fill light source, judging by the reflection in the baby's eyes.

The color of the mother's (or companion's) nails breaks the monotony of the predominant white and adds a touch of joy to the photo.
