Getting to know the lens
We are continuing our series of lens reviews by Carl Zeiss. As I noted in previous articles, the German manufacturer does not indulge us with autofocus models. Well, the more valuable today's hero - ZEISS Batis 2/25 - a fast wide-angle lens for cameras with Sony E mount, equipped with autofocus.ILCE-7M2 / E 25mm F2 Installation: ISO 100, F5.6, 5 s, 25.0 mm equiv.Download RAW
Apart from him, at the time of writing, the Batis lineup is represented by only two models. Earlier, we studied the ultra-wide-angle Batis 2.8 / 18 , which turned out to be a godsend for landscape photographers. Also, a review of Batis 1.8 / 85, designed primarily for portraits enthusiasts, will soon be published on Prophotos.ru.

But what unites these lenses besides the prefix in the name and the mount? The fact is that Carl Zeiss is the only company in the world that produces optics with an integrated OLED display.
This is what the Batis lenses stand out from their competitors. So the word "technological" in relation to ZEISS Batis 2/25 is more than true.
Thanks to the small size of the ZEISS Batis 2/25, I managed to take a couple of shots on the plane and go unnoticed. Typically, airlines are forbidden to take photos during the flight.
