Apart from him, at the time of writing, the Batis lineup is represented by only two models. The fact is that Carl Zeiss is the only company in the world that produces optics with an integrated OLED display.

This is what the Batis lenses stand out from their competitors. So the word "technological" in relation to ZEISS Batis 2/25 is more than true.

Thanks to the small size of the ZEISS Batis 2/25, I managed to take a couple of shots on the plane and go unnoticed. Typically, airlines are forbidden to take photos during the flight.

In addition, ZEISS Batis 2/25 has a rather modest size and weight. The length and diameter of the body are 92 and 81 mm, respectively. The lens weighs 335 grams, which allows you to take it with you on walks and long photo trips. On the body there is a thread for installing filters with a diameter of 67 mm. Wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses sometimes sin from its absence. But in the case of ZEISS Batis 2/25, you can easily use both protective and polarizing filters. The optical scheme has 10 elements in 8 groups. There are two aspherical glass elements with abnormal frequency dispersion. Their presence in the optical circuit directly affects the cost of ZEISS Batis 2/25.
