5 PENTAX OBJECTIVES FOR CREATIVE MINDS OF ADJUSTED BUDGET WHICH ONE DO YOU PREFER?

Hello Pentaxero or Pentaxera , today I have come to talk to you about the objectives of Pentax that will change your life as a photographer. Yes, I am not exaggerated, he who already has one will agree with me, and he who does not, will end up giving me the reason;). I know that many times at the beginning it seems to us that getting out of the objective of the kit is a company reserved only for those who dominate SLR photography but, in my view, there is nothing more wrong. Because you can have great optics as an amateur. You just have to dare with it, want to take that step further, dare to dispense with the zoom or prepare to get wonderful bokeh, unfocused backgrounds, or a sharpness that our goal of the kit can not always offer.

ASPECTS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING

As we know that it is a topic that usually brings us upside down, Mario made a very complete guide to guide you when buying goals . I only give you a short summary to keep in mind:
  • Brightness: the lower the diaphragm value indicated on the lens, the brighter. For example, an f / 1.4 is brighter than an f / 5.6.
  • Focal length: is the amplitude of the visual field or portion of the scene. The more focal length , the less the visual field (the closer we get), and the less the focal length, the more angle or field of view (the further we move away (among other things)).
  • Fixed optics vs. Zoom : both types have advantages and disadvantages;).
  • Diaphragm sheets: the more, the softer and more rounded the Bokeh.
  • Sealing and building material: a lens with a plastic frame without dust or water sealing is not the same as a well sealed and metal construction one.
  • Image Stabilizer.
  • Etc.

1. FIXED PENTAX OBJECTIVE 50MM F / 1.8 (THE PRINCE OF THE OBJECTIVES)

I can't think of a better fixed-focus Pentax lens than this 50mm f / 1.8 , which Mario named the prince of the lenses . Its opening and luminosity are wonderful. It will allow you to work clearly in low light situations or blur the background in a fascinating way. It has hardly any distortions, is compact, lightweight, is well built and is a very versatile optics. Not to mention the price. If you have not yet dared with a fixed optics, this is a great way to get it right.

2. FIXED TARGET 35 MM F / 2.4

If you are looking for a little more angle in your photographs, this 35mm f / 2.4 is your ideal Pentax lens. Like the 50mm, it is a very versatile lens for many types of photography such as landscapes and especially events of all kinds. Not only is the angle ideal, so is its Bokeh and its blur. In short, another great investment if you think of a very good optics at a reasonable price. If you doubt between a 50mm or a 35mm I recommend you take a look at this article.

3. PENTAX FIXED LENS 100MM F / 2.8 MACRO

If you like portraits and / or macro photography, this Pentax lens can be an interesting lens for you. I would not fool you if I told you that I dream that my next optician is exactly this: 100mm f / 2.8 but in Nikon version;). It is an objective that will allow you to approach your models, be these bichejos , plants, flowers or people;), blurring the background and keeping a good blur and a lot of light. While the price increases with respect to the first two Pentax objectives that I have presented to you, I think it is worth having. Especially if you already have some very versatile such as 35mm or 50mm.

4. ZOOM LENS 55-300MM F / 4.5-6.3

If you continue to think that a fixed optics is not your thing or if, you are simply looking for a zoom range between the Pentax lenses that allows you versatility and adaptability in most situations, this 55-300mm may be what you are looking for. It is well built, and with very good finishes. The best in your field. So if you are struck by nature photography, sports (normal or extreme) , birds, or even moon photography, this goal is a good candidate for you.

5. 18-135MM ZOOM LENS F / 3.5-5.6

Another optic of the zoom range of the Pentax lenses with which you will have a lot of versatility but in the opposite spectrum to the previous one. With this focal range you can photograph from landscapes to portraits. An ideal off-road vehicle for trips. It is light, it has a good construction, it is sealed, it has a precise and silent AF ... It is not bad for the price it has, right ?.

CONVERSION FACTOR

Remember to consider the conversion factor (or multiplication) of your camera when choosing your lens. If you don't know what I'm talking about don't worry, you have it perfectly explained here;). But broadly speaking, it is the number by which you have to multiply the focal length of your lens if you don't have a Full Frame camera . Normally this is around x1.5 or x1.6. This means, for example, that a focal length of 50mm, in a camera other than Full Frame, becomes 75mm (in the case of a camera with a multiplication factor of x1.5).

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

As you will surely have an objective of the kit with a focal range in zoom, my personal recommendation is that you dare with a fixed optics. The value for money that have 35mm or 50mm is amazing. Do not refuse such good goals for fear of not living up to, to believe that everything will be too complicated. Of that nothing, you'll see how you catch it in a short time. You'll love them and if you already have it covered, dare with a new focal point. Each new focal length opens a different world, increases your creativity and your possibilities. What do you think of these Pentax goals? Do you dream (like me) with expanding your family? With any one in particular? If you feel like you can explain it to us in comments, we will love to read you Oh, and if you liked it, don't forget to share it on your favorite social network to help us reach as many people as possible. Thank you very much and we read in the next article.
