Acquaintance
Today I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f / 4-5.6 IS II USM lens in my hands , and I am ready to share my impressions and experience with it. But first, I will do a little digression.

Recently, I heard from my friend, who has been seriously interested in photography for two years, the phrase: “I won’t take a telephoto on a trip, I don’t like televisions.” I was very surprised and replied that love for them will come with time and experience.
And I also remembered my first steps in photography back in 2008 and what kind of optics I was shooting then. I really wanted a “wide angle” to put more in the frame, but in my arsenal was the most budgetary televisions 70-300 mm from Canon.
All the pictures that I took that year on wide-angle lenses can now be safely thrown into the basket. Perhaps I would leave only a few photos taken on a telephoto lens.
Having received a new and unfamiliar version of the telezoom with a range of 70-300 mm – Canon EF 70-300mm f / 4-5.6 IS II USM , I decided to figure out how comfortable it is in shooting, in what standard scenes it will be useful to me 10 years after meeting with the first such telezoom.
