WEEKLY CHALLENGE 139: CURVED LINES

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 139: CURVED LINES

Hold on there are curves coming, and from the exciting ones, do you have the camera ready?

HOW DOES IT WORK? (REMINDER)

Every week I will propose a new challenge , it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The subjects will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The themes will be proposed on Fridays , so that you have the whole weekend to work on them. You will have a deadline to upload your photo one week (one photo per participant), until Thursdaythe following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that has most captivated me and on Friday I will propose a new theme so that you have all weekend to capture your images, and so ...

WEEKLY CHALLENGE 139: CURVED LINES (FROM 12/11/2015 TO 12/17/2015)

The lines are very powerful resource composition in photography, you did not know I highly recommend you read this article if you want to continue taking steps in photography and participate in the challenge with a great shot. Well this week the challenge is lines, but not just any type of line, but curved lines. Curved lines are used to convey movement, they are sensual, suggestive and elegant. And within the curved lines is the "S", which has great beauty and strength, which is why it is widely used in photography. Landscape, architecture, nudes ... Curved lines are everywhere. Capture its beauty and allow us to walk through your image through it. You can do it in black and white or in color, horizontally, vertically or diagonally, from above or below , as you like, but always putting into practice all your photographic knowledge (especially composition) and taking out all that art that you carry inside, ¿ What are you waiting to squeeze it? As usual, to participate in this week's challenge, upload your photo to the Facebook wall of the Photographer's Blog:  In the photo description, please mention the keyword “Curved Lines Challenge” followed by a title of your choice .

UPGRADE

And here you have the curves of this week, to make you dizzy ... with excitement! Of all these wonderful photographs, today I want to highlight the one by José Rodríguez, «Final Destination Coca Cola». This is an example of intentional error photographs that work, or at least for me. The jitter of the image is a way of promoting movement, which with that very powerful curved line, which also forms an "S", is magnified even more . It is a photograph of pure speed, which makes you vibrate almost as if you were on this roller coaster. I love the effect that the red color gives, the only protagonist along with the curves, which does nothing more than give strength and character to the movement. I told you, hold on, curves are coming ... well here they are Congratulations José! And be aware that there is a new challenge tomorrow and this time very special!
